Alexander Laible
The name Laible stands for successful winemaking since 13 generations. Therefore it seemed to suggest itself that my brother Andreas and I would follow in our father’s and his ancestor’s footsteps. While Andreas was taking over our parental winery, I started up my own business in 2007. I seized the big chance for a start-up when my second cousin Eugen Schlindwein wanted to sell off his vineyards in Sinzheim close to Baden Baden. Taking over his grapevines was laying the foundation for my new winery. In addition I was lucky to get my second cousin on board as field operations manager. Today I am able to put all my ideas into practice without any compromises. This applies to every work step from pruning the grapevines to bottling our wines.
