Herbert Weis runs both a hotel/restaurant and a winery while being at all times an extremely generous host! A former marathon runner, his Kaseler Nies'chen (Grand Cru) Ruwer Rieslings exhibit sheer elegance and finesse that duly compete with the big boys in the neighborhood such as: Maximin Grünhaus, Karthäuserhof and von Kesselstatt. Herbert merged his father ́s estate Weingut Weis with the Erben von Beulwitz property in 1982 when he purchased it from the former owner.
